CONTROLS
Arrow Keys - Menu Selections and Move Malta
Escape - Open Subscreen
Z and X - On Subscreen, equip items to use. In game, use items
Spacebar - Make Menu Selections, open doors, and chests
Some menu options do not work, or are not finished yet.
Rooms reset upon reentry. Prototype was designed so that it's not an issue. Finished game will have persistence
Six different items are available to use
A sword, shield (not fully functioning), a crossbow, bombs, a magic rod, and a magic gauntlet.
Bombs can blow up some walls and saw blades. Be careful, they damage you a lot!
Coins can be spent on things, when I add some things.
Fruit recovers your Power Gauge. Touching traps and enemies reduces it. When it reaches zero, the game ends.
Four enemy types!
Bombs and arrows can be replenished by finding drops.
Some doors are locked, find keys to open them. Keys show up on the subscreen.
The magic rod and magic glove have a recharge time. The gloves can push round pillars and break rocks. It can hurt some enemies too. The rod shoots fire.
Prototype features a 15 room dungeon. Find the crystal at the end.
